Superintendent's Comments: Approval is recommended for a Demand Response Sales and Service Agreement with EnerNoc to participate in a program which compensates electricity users for reducing consumption when demand for electricity is high. (REFERENCE IV-L)

AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT – NATIONAL RETIREMENT SERVICES: (IV-M) |
Superintendent’s Comments: Approval is recommended to amend the Standard Multi-Tenant Office Lease – Gross (“Lease”) between Huntington Beach Union High School District, a California Public School District, and National Retirement Services, Inc., a California Corporation, for an additional three years, as per Section 39 “Options” of the Lease. The Lease Term will extend 36 months through November 30, 2016. Base Rent for the period December 1, 2011 through November 30, 2016, as per schedule reviewed and agreed upon by and between both parties.

Superintendent’s Comments: The district has been notified of increases and decreases in funding for various categorical projects and other funding sources. Approval is recommended to adopt a resolution increasing income and reserves by the net amount of $2,598 in the Measure C Bond Fund and County School Facilities Fund for the fiscal year 2011-12.
