SB2000 CLASSROOM LOG ON ISSUES - YOUR SCHOOL'S LIAISON
Teachers experiencing login problems for SB2000 Classroom or the Parent/Student Portal may contact Information Services directly except when login codes are needed. For security reasons, Info Services will not give out login codes over the phone and will only deal with the liaison listed below when codes are involved. If you know your staff ID and password and still can't log in, by all means contact Information Services. If you forgot your codes or are new and don't have them yet, you must contact the liaison in the chart below. Normally, the Subfinder password is the same password used to log into SB2000 Classroom.
Information Services contact info: email to ISHELP @hbuhsd.org or call the HelpDesk at #52. Email is preferred unless you're in a hurry.
If the liaison doesn't already have the information you need, they will contact Information Services**. The liaison will report back to the teacher with the account information once they receive it.

ROP WARNING: ROP teachers may not even be entered into our HR system since they are paid directly by ROP. If you need an account for an ROP teacher contact Information Services at #52. A pseudo staff account will be created so s/he can take attendance online and so the section will appear in the Parent/Student Portal.
New accounts take a while to process so your patience is appreciated. Use Manual Attendance sheets for attendance taking until your liaison supplies you with your account information.
Before an employee can log onto SB2000 Classroom the following must occur:
1) Employee must be entered into our Position
Control, Human Resource
(HR) system and issued a staff ID and Subfinder system password
2) The new staff member is added to the SB2000 Staff file via an automated
overnight daily procedure copying new hires from our HR system to SB2000.
The staff ID generated by SB2000 is the six digit HR ID preceded by the teachers
initials.
3) Information Services staff must then activate the new SB2000 staff record
4) The new staff ID must be entered into SB2000 master schedule sections by school personnel
5) The teacher or TRT must enter the eight character staff ID into the teacher's
ECS account profile for synchronization between our systems.
Each step above is performed by a different individual which does increase the coordination required. As stated earlier, your patience is appreciated.
