The rate of pay for substitute teachers is based upon the number of teaching periods/hours per day of substituting. If you are given less than a full day's assignment, you will receive an hourly rate of pay for each teaching period (excluding conference periods) that you work. A substitute teacher will never receive less than three periods/hours of pay.
