Welcome!

The Indian Education Program in the Huntington Beach Union High School District has been in existence 36 years.  The program service area is the 47 square mile boundary of the Huntington Beach Union High School District and its four feeder elementary school districts which includes major portions of the cities of Westminster and Fountain Valley, and the entire city of Huntington Beach.  We are currently providing services to approximately 1,072 students.

Program

The program is designed to continue to meet educational, career/counseling and cultural needs of identified Indian Students in grades 9-12.  It provides these students with supplementary, enrichment and support services over and beyond those normally provided in the District.  The program design is a collaborative effort of the Parent Committee of the Indian Education Program utilizing school records, data from a formalized Needs Assessment, and student, parent, and professional and paraprofessional focus group activities.
